Rajan Singh Calls for Stronger Support for Inter-School Sports in Ghana

Rajan Singh, Head of Sales and Marketing at Cave and Gardens Limited, has called on Ghanaians and key stakeholders to intensify their support for the development of school sports.

A long-time advocate and sponsor of the Ghana Interschool Festival, Singh emphasized the vital role that sports plays in nurturing young talent and promoting holistic education.

“School sports play a vital role in shaping the future of our youth,” Singh stated.

“It’s crucial that we invest in our children’s physical and mental well-being. Sports offer an excellent platform for building character, teamwork, and discipline.”

The Ghana Interschool Festival, which brings together students from schools across the country, has grown into a flagship event for youth sports development.

Cave and Gardens Limited has been a consistent supporter of the festival, recognizing its potential to discover emerging talent and instill a culture of excellence.

“By supporting school sports, we’re not just developing athletes—we’re shaping responsible and empowered citizens,” Mr Singh added.

“These young individuals will become future leaders in their communities and professions, and it is our duty to provide the tools they need to succeed.”

Mr Singh also urged corporate organizations, government bodies, and individuals to collaborate in building a strong and sustainable ecosystem for school sports.

“When we come together to support this cause, we create lasting opportunities for the Ghanaian youth to thrive both locally and on the global stage.”

Beyond sponsorship, Cave and Gardens Limited is committed to youth development through initiatives aimed at enhancing sports infrastructure and providing resources for underserved schools.

As the Ghana Interschool Festival continues to grow, Mr Singh’s message rings clear to educators, policymakers, and all stakeholders:

“Let’s unite to empower Ghana’s future leaders through the transformative power of sports.”
