The maiden edition of the Private Schools Sports Fiesta is set to be launched in Accra tomorrow at what is expected to be a lavish ceremony.
The launching ceremony will come off at the Mensah Sarbah Hall football Park, University of Ghana, Legon with the program set to start at 9:00 AM.
It is been put together by the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS), in partnership with Kaysports and Insurance firm GLICO.
The event has been dubbed “Private Schools Sports Fiesta and GLICO Sportsman Insurance”.
The sports fiesta would involve six sporting disciplines, soccer, table tennis, volleyball, basketball, athletics and taekwondo where talents abound in Ghana especially at the private schools level.
Further details, will be made known at the launch of the program on Friday at Legon in Accra.
Kaysports CEO Kwame Owusu-Ameyaw will give the welcome address where he will highlight the scope of the upcoming competition.
Other speakers will include officials of GNACOPS and GLICO.
Dates and venues for the competition would be announced at the launch of the event.
