There were lots of exciting sports activities during the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) week celebrations at Asamankese last month.
The GNACOPS week celebrations, held with purpose and passion in
the Lower West Akim District, with a series of impactful activities that highlighted the vital role private schools play in Ghana’s education system.
It was climaxed with exciting sports activities, where learners participated in football, volleyball, and track and field events.
The sports festival was not only lively and competitive but also a platform where many young talents were discovered.
From skillful footballers to promising volleyball players and sprinters, the event revealed the hidden potential within the private school community.
Even in pouring rain, the athletes were not to be defied as it was seen that they were filled with excitement and a freedom of purpose.
The GNACOPS Week in Asamankese was a true reflection of the Council’s mission: promoting academic excellence, character development, and community service through inclusive, engaging, and holistic education.
The sports competition, was part of the zonal event in the ongoing first ever Private Schools Sports Fiesta initiated by Kaysports Limited in association with GNACOPS and GlicoLife Insurance.
