Opoku Ware School, Kumasi has recognized the outstanding achievements of three students who excelled at the recently ended African School Games in Algeria and the CAF African Schools Football Championships in Ghana.
The students were awarded GH₵1,000 each for their impressive performances.
The awardees are:
Michael Agyapong Mensah, a general arts student who won a bronze medal in table tennis at the maiden African School Games in Algeria.
Mohammed Nurudeen Masawudu a Form One visual arts student who was part of Ghana’s bronze medal winning team in the 3×3 basketball event at the African School Games.
Cyrus Ankomah, a science student, was part of the Ghanaian team that secured a bronze medal at the 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championships in Accra.
This recognition highlights Opoku Ware School’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and athletic prowess.
