Armed Forces SecTech, Kumasi Girls SHS, wins Ashanti Zone 4 athletics competition

he 2025 Zone 4 Ashanti Region Schools and Colleges Sports Federation Athletics Inter-Zonal Competition ended on Tuesday at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi.

Armed Forces Senior High Technical School, won the boy’s competition with Kumasi Girl’s High School winning the female category.

This competition, was a highly competitive two-day affair as the schools battled for qualification for the Super Zonals.

At the end of the event, Armed Forces SecTec finished tops in the boy’s category after finishing with 150 points ahead of second placed Kumasi High School who had 69 points.

Tweneboah-Kodua SHS, 68 points, Tepa SHS, 62 points and Antoa SHS, 60 points, finished third, fourth and fifth respectively.

The top five schools, have qualified to the Super Zonals in the regional competition.

In the girl’s category, Kumasi Girls High School came first with 185 points, ahead of Armed Forces SecTec who finished second with 140 points.

In third position, were T.I. AMASS-Asokore SHS with 85 points, Bekwai SDA SHS and KNUST SHS, finished fourth and fifth respectively with 70 and 61 points.

Kumasi Girls SHS, will be joined in the Super-Zonal by Armed Forces, T.I. AMASS, Asokore, Bekwai SDA and KNUST SHS.
